1. The whole Bible is God’s word given to man. No other document has the same authority. More

3. All men are mortal – all men sin and die. Dead people are in an unconscious state. More

4. Jesus is the fulfilment of many promises that were made in Old Testament times. More

5. Jesus is the son of God. He was born a normal human being but, uniquely, he overcame every temptation to sin. More

6. Salvation from death is offered to all men through Jesus’s sinless life, his death, and his resurrection. More

7. Salvation comes through the forgiveness of sins. This offer is made to those who show their belief through baptism. More

8. God wants us to live good lives, but we cannot be saved by our own works – only through God’s grace. More

9. Jesus is now in heaven at God's right hand. One day soon he will return to earth to set up his Father's kingdom. More
